Power X-Band SPDT Switch: MASW-011021
M/A-COM Tech
introduces a new HMIC™ silicon PIN diode SPDT switch for
military, commercial, and weather radar applications. The
MASW-011021
is a Surmount (Surface Mountable) X-Band monolithic SPDT switch
designed for high power and high performance applications.
MASW-011021 boasts low
insertion loss of 0.65 dB and a high input to output isolation at 36
dB. Its surface
mount chipscale configuration is designed with minimal parasitic
inductances and capacitances, and features a fully encapsulated
topside with silicon nitride and has an additional polymer
layer for scratch
and impact protection.

shifters. These phase shifters facilitate easy implementation
in
communication antennas, phased array radars, weather radars, and EW
receivers. The MAPS-010145 is a 4-Bit digital phase shifter
with serial or parallel control operating over the 3.5 GHz to 6.0 GHz
frequency range. The MAPS-010165 is a 6-Bit digital phase
shifter with serial or parallel control operating over the 3.5
GHz to 6.0 GHz frequency range.

receivers. The S-Band GaAs pHEMT 4-Bit and 6-Bit
digital phase shifters meet the high performance requirements of
communications and radar system manufacturers, optimizing for fast
switching speed, low phase error, and serial or parallel control
capability. The MAPS-010144 is a 4-Bit digital phase shifter
operating over the 2.3 GHz to 3.8 GHz frequency range. The
MAPS-010164 is a 6-Bit digital phase shifter operating over the 2.3 GHz
to 3.8 GHz frequency range. Both offer serial or parallel
control capability.

The new family of products targets L- and S-Band pulsed radar
applications, providing both standard and custom solutions to meet the
most demanding customer requirements. These GaN on Silicon Carbide
(SiC) products—offered as transistors and
pallets—utilize a 0.5 micron HEMT process and exhibit
attractive gain, gain flatness, efficiency and ruggedness over
wide-operating bandwidths.
